Allison Episcopo Hearn
Attorney Allison Episcopo Hearn is an Associate at Ligori & Ligori, P.A. She is a Tampa native who attended Academy of the Holy Names high school. She comes to the firm after spending several years as an Assistant State Attorney, first at the Fifth Judicial Circuit in Ocala, then at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County. She has an immense amount of trial and court room experience which will be a great asset to our client of Ligori & Ligori.
Allison received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Loyola University of New Orleans. In the summer of 2001, she moved to New York City and worked as a news producer for Court TV. Only 3 months into her journalism career, Allison found herself at Ground Zero reporting live on the September 11 th terror attacks. During her tenure at Court TV she advanced up the ranks to Senior News Producer, covering high profile cases such as Michael Jackson, Scott Peterson, Phil Spector, and Michael Skakel.
After spending nearly a decade in New York City, Allison made the decision to leave the news industry and pursue a legal career. She returned to the Tampa Bay area and graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2010. Allison comes from a prestigious legal pedigree. Her father, Joe Episcopo, is a nationally recognized criminal defense attorney and political pundit. After granduation, she worked alongside her father aggressively defending those accused of misdemeanor and felony crimes.
Allison and her family currently reside in Treasure Island, Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Justice Association and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association. She is an advocate of children and devotes her spare time to helping Tampa Bay Area charities, such as Champions For Children.
