Thomas McFadyen
Thomas was born and raised in Bartow, Florida, and has resided in the Tampa Bay area all of his life. He attended Bartow High School where he was active in athletics, participating in Football, Baseball and Track and Field. He graduated from Bartow High School, with a Bright Futures Scholarship. After high school, Thomas attended the University of South Florida where he graduated with honors.
After graduating from the University of South Florida, Thomas attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he graduated in less than three (3) years. Thomas served as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Nicolas M. Athanason and gained valuable experience helping clients in obtaining advantageous resolutions in personal injury cases.
Thomas served as an Associate Public Defender in Hillsborough County, Florida, in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. While serving as Assistant Public Defender, Thomas helped a variety of clients as well as litigating cases through trial.
Thomas then served as a litigation attorney in the Tampa Bay area for nearly ten (10) years. In this capacity, Thomas handled complex business litigation and represented some of the largest lending institutions in the country.
Thomas is a member of the Florida Justice Association. Thomas resides in Riverview, Florida and enjoys spending time with his wife Elizabeth, his two children Nathan and Ryleigh, and his dog Rosie.
