Meet Attorney Francisco Cruz
Francisco Cruz grew up as the son of a U.S. Army soldier, which meant moving often and rarely staying anywhere long enough to call it home. When his father retired after a 20-year career, the family settled in Kissimmee, and for the first time Francisco had a real hometown. That sense of finally belonging to a community has shaped everything he's done since.
After college, Francisco began his career in banking. He quickly found that the part of the job he enjoyed most was helping people work through their most complicated problems. That realization led him to law school, with one goal in mind: to help his neighbors through some of the hardest moments of their lives.
He started as a prosecutor in Osceola County, where he handled hundreds of cases and built his skills in the courtroom. Wanting a more direct impact on the people he served, he moved into private practice and eventually focused on representing people injured by the negligence of others. He joined Ligori & Ligori in 2023. Today he lives in Oviedo with his wife and represents clients in courts across Florida, still guided by the same reason he became a lawyer.
