Meet Attorney Meaghann Ligori
Meaghann Ligori grew up watching her father, Keith Ligori, build a career around helping people. That example stayed with her, and it's a big part of why she became a lawyer.
Born in Dubuque, Iowa, and raised in Tampa, Meaghann grew up competing. She was a three-sport varsity athlete in high school and played for state titles in volleyball and basketball. Those years taught her how to prepare, how to be part of a team, and how to keep pushing when things get hard.
Her path to law took shape in Washington, D.C., where a Senate internship gave her a firsthand look at how decisions made in government reach people's everyday lives. After law school, she began her career as a prosecutor, learning how to build a case from the ground up and present it in court.
Today, Meaghann is a partner at Ligori & Ligori, where she stands up for victims of negligence and people who have been treated unfairly by insurance companies. She believes injured clients deserve someone who will guide them through every step of the process, and she brings the same competitive drive she had on the court to every case she handles. Outside the office, she stays active in the Tampa Bay community, giving her time to causes she cares about.
