Florida Does Not Need Tort Reform

Published: March 14, 2023

Florida is already the best state in the Union and has one of the most thriving economies of any state in the Union. The proposed tort reform bill helps the governor obtain support, political and financial, from the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce is heavily influenced by globalist insurance companies which will benefit from Florida House Bill 837 by making it almost impossible for victims of crimes, DUI, and other injured parties from collecting what is fairly needed for their recoveries and simply protecting criminals, drunk drivers and wrongdoers at the expense of every Florida Resident.

However, the bill will end the ability of Florida’s consumers, Doctors and small businesses to obtain attorneys to represent them should an insurance company fail to fulfill their obligations under automobile insurance policies. Should these measures become law, everything regarding your insurance will be in the hands of insurance companies without any restraints or consequences should they do the wrong thing. Insurance companies will have the green light to pay pennies on the dollar for claims without any fear of being held accountable for any abuses because citizens and small businesses will be unable to obtain an attorney to help them be made whole.

Florida should say NO to HOUSE BILL 837.
