Founding partner Keith Ligori is appointed to the Loras College Board of Governors, expanding his long-standing commitment to education and community leadership.
Tampa, FL – Ligori & Ligori Attorneys at Law is proud to announce that Keith Ligori, founding partner, has been selected to the Loras College Board of Regents, bringing with him more than two decades of professional leadership and legal experience.
“It’s a great honor to be asked to become a member of the Board of Regents at Loras College,” said Ligori. “I have fond memories of attending and look forward to many years of supporting Loras College and supporting Catholic education on the Board of Regents.”
Keith and his wife, Georgeann, who met as students at Loras College, both graduated in 1992. Their long-standing commitment to Catholic education continues through their philanthropic work.
“We feel very strongly about supporting Catholic education, and we’re doing that with the Keith and Georgeann Ligori Family Foundation,” they shared.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Loras College, Ligori attended Nova Southeastern University Law School, where he received his J.D. in 2000. He passed the Florida Bar Exam in 2001 and has since built a distinguished career as a respected attorney and community advocate.
The Loras College Board of Regents serves as the institution’s legislative and governing body, responsible for establishing the broad policies under which the College operates. As the legal entity of the College, the Board acts as custodian of all institutional assets, defines the College’s educational aims, vision, and mission, and ensures that Loras fulfills its educational purpose.
“We are excited to welcome Keith, a 1992 Loras graduate, to the Board of Regents. Keith’s remarkable record of success began during his time as a student, when he served first as assistant to the public relations director and later as director of public relations and marketing for the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Today, as a respected attorney in Tampa and a successful business owner, he brings valuable expertise in financial and risk management, as well as marketing. His leadership and experience will be tremendous assets to Loras College.” — Mike Doyle, President of Loras College
